If you want to change your relationship with food you must first change your mindset around how you view yourself.
You must change your mindset around food!
Your relationship with food is an external representation of your relationship with yourself. How you feed your self reflects how you feel about yourself (positively or negatively). If you want to change your relationship with food you must first change your mindset around how you view yourself. Your self-love and self-worth are deeply connected, and overlooking this connection is why so many people struggle with relating to food.
“How you feed your self reflects how you feel about yourself (positively or negatively).”
Mindset
Mindset is the biggest barrier between you and your nutritional success. Your attitude and viewpoint determine your outcome. If your goal is to lose 20 pounds but you can’t envision yourself being the type of person to weigh 20 pounds less, than you will not succeed. This is often the case with "yo-yo dieters" who lose tons of weight and then gain it all back. These dieters identified at their previous weight and not at their goal-weight, so when they lost pounds they could not identify with the new person they had become. You have to mentally be at your goal before you physically arrive. Period!
Constant dieting is not the answer.
Intermittent fasting is not the answer.
Food elimination is not the answer…by themselves.
You must have the right frame of mind to see beyond your current physical condition or environment to that promised land, to the person you know you already are.
Beyoncé was a pop star in her mind BEFORE she became one in real life.
Basquiat was a famous artist in his mind BEFORE he became one to the world.
You are who you are in your mind first BEFORE you display that to others.
Mindset is the first M of Wellness for this very reason.
“Eating is not about the food first, it’s how you view yourself eating food.”
Eating is not about the food first, it’s how you view yourself eating food.
Everything begins in the mind.
To your wellness,
